Perry "Ryan" Bentley recently graduated from Morehead State University with a
bachelor degree of Communications, with an emphasis of advertising and public
relations and a minor in Visual Arts.

Ryan has completed two internships. One at a web design agency called eLink Design
in Lexington Kentucky, were I cut up website designs, implemented them into a CMS,
and added content and pictures at the request of the clients. Learned the basics of
Search Engine Optimization, and how a larger web development agency works to
complete large projects.

The other internship was at DigiZel Grafix which is also a web design agency in
Lexington Kentucky. There I updated content, adjusted CSS style sheets, created
sitemaps, set in on designer and client meetings, and worked on some logos.

He was the advertising manager, and web designer for The Trail Blazer for one year
and a sales rep for six months prior to becoming the ad manager. As the ad manager
I oversaw all the sales reps, and made sure they met deadlines, were out selling ads
and ensuring we were making enough sales to pay for the paper to be printed. I also
designed ads for local businesses, and made sure ads that were designed by my staff
met the needs of the clients. This helped me be more respectful for deadlines, and
taught me that procrastination is a very evil habit. As web designer for The Trail Blazer
Online, I gave the online edition of the paper a facelift, completely redesigning and
making it more user friendly and more geared towards our papers target audience.
