I became interested in video productions as a freshman in high school when my track coach
would give me a camcorder to record the varsity track meets. After seeing how the footage I shot
was edited and put to music, I wanted to learn as much as I could about editing and the production
of videos. I came to Marshall in the fall of 2005 to study Radio and Television production and
Management. During my 4 years there I learned more than I ever would have imagined. I helped
create and became director of Up Late (a late night comedy show that airs Saturday nights at 11 on
MyZ tv). I worked at WSAZ as a production technician during the summer and fall of 2008. While I
learned a lot, I decided news production was too boring for me. I’ve done videography for Troy
Brown, Chad Pennington and Mike Bartrum for the last two years at the Troy Brown fantasy football
camp. If you’re a fan of Marshall Basketball, you may recognize me as the camera man on the
court that’s always looking to embarrass people by putting them on the video board. In addition to
the fun stuff, I want to make videos that make a difference in this world.

I've traveled to Nicaragua and made videos about orphans that I met there. I’ve also done some
work about the Hurricane Katrina clean up in Mississippi. Most recently, I finished a documentary
that discusses some of the issues surrounding drug treatment centers in West Virginia.
